Assembling your bike is empowering. It’s a great way to understand how it works! Please click here to view our step by step guide to assembly. View our assembly video here.
- The bike arrives in a box.The handlebars, front wheel, front mudguard, pedals and saddle must be attached.
- You will need a multi-tool or hex key set, 10mm spanner, 15mm wrench, scissors, pliers, a screwdriver and a pump.
Some things to note:
- If you assemble your own bike, it’s very important that you do it correctly. If you have doubts, pay your local bike mechanic to check over your handiwork or assemble it for you.
- In the first few weeks of use, you can expect your bike to ‘bed-in’. You must check everything is tight before each ride. Cables will stretch so your gears and brakes will need adjustment.
Finding the correct size bike starts with measuring the legs. Take a measuring tape, place it on the floor inside the leg and measure upwards. Now check the chart below.

Rider heights are given as a guide only. Everyone has different length legs, regardless of height. We strongly recommend measuring the inside leg before choosing the size!
If you can fit on either size:
- Choose S/M if you are a nervous rider and/or want an easy “nippy” shopping bike.
- Choose M/L if you are a confident rider and/or looking for a “dutch-style” bike. It has bigger wheels and a higher centre of gravity.
