Brownie 7 (2020)
Regular price £445.00 GBP Save Liquid error (product-template line 127): -Infinity%The Brownie is our signature model, and is a do-it-all leisure bike. It offers simplicity and a smooth riding experience. Featuring colour-matched mudguards, chain guard and rear carrier, a branded Bobbin sprung saddle, duracork handlebar grips and 7 Shimano gears to get you up and down hills. The Brownie is wonderfully comfortable to ride, perfect for shopping, commuting or general leisure.
Colours: Blueberry = Dark Blue. Moody Blue = Grey Blue. Green = Mint Green. Black.
Gears: On this model, we have redesigned the gears to give you a helping hand if you get stuck on a steep hill. The easy gear is now really really easy. It will be your savour in times of need!
If you thought you needed 21 gears...let us persuade you to think again. It's likely you won't use all of them (actually 10 of them feel very similar!) The Brownie 7 has all the gears you need. The shifting is simple, leaving you to concentrate on looking around, waving at passers-by and enjoying the ride.
Weight: Brownie 7 has a lightweight alloy rack on the back, to match the alloy frame. You'll notice the lightness if you carry your bike up steps. It's 13kg.
Sizing: There are two sizes, both with standard 700c wheels making spares easy to source. If you're looking for a larger bike, check out the Daytripper - it has the same spec but on a larger frame.

Assembling your bike is empowering. It’s a great way to understand how it works! Please click here to view our step by step guide to assembly. View our assembly video here.
- The bike arrives in a box. The handlebars, front wheel, front mudguard, pedals and saddle must be attached.
- You will need a multi-tool or hex key set, 10mm spanner, 15mm wrench, scissors, pliers, a screwdriver and a pump.
Some things to note:
- If you assemble your own bike, it’s very important that you do it correctly. If you have doubts, pay your local bike mechanic to check over your handiwork or assemble it for you.
- In the first few weeks of use, you can expect your bike to ‘bed-in’. You must check everything is tight before each ride. Cables will stretch so your gears and brakes will need adjustment.

Finding the correct size bike starts with measuring the legs. Take a measuring tape, place it on the floor inside the leg and measure upwards. Now check the chart below.

Hummingbird
Regular price £545.00 GBP Save Liquid error (product-template line 127): -Infinity%New for 2020, this is a re-working of our much loved Hummingbird bike. It has a slim 'mixte' frame made from lightweight chromoly steel, super curly 'moustache' handlebars, a sprung saddle and matching mudguards. It is a quirky, authentically retro bike. The riding style is coquettish: leaning forward a little with straight arms.
This frame shape is evocative of 1960's France so you may consider wearing a stripy T-shirt and cocking your hat at a jaunty angle!

Notes on compatibility: The set-up of the Hummingbird is a different to our other bikes. The handlebar stem sticks forward and the head tube is short. If you want to attach a front basket, we recommend the Urban Front Basket. Other baskets may be too deep and may droop forwards. If you choose the rear Lightweight Urban Carrier make sure you add these bolts If you have any questions about compatibility of accessories, contact us before ordering :)
Colours: all colours are gloss finish except "Chrome Paint" which is a complex iridescent paint that ranges from dark grey, silvery and purple-hued, depending on the light and angle.
